Here are some infos and facts about Encore's new 1:32 scale Fokker F.I model kit, courtesy of MMD Squadron. Nine pictures of an assembled model (unpainted) as well as the boxart are included in this news story.

Excellent news piece!
Small issue to fix on your modeling table. The cowlings on F.I 100 - 103/17 airframes had a "strap" of metal behind the cylinders. So it should appear that the cylinders protrude through a slot or oblong opening. I refer the reader to the excellent Aeroscale based Roden Group Builds in 2008

I do not have the kit however, over on the drome, someone who does has stated that the Resin cowl DOES have the LIP! It seems the builder of the sample either removed the lip, or it was broken off and the builder did not know to replace the piece!
