Greetings Rowan, An excellent read. The kit does follow the description you gave it. Though I think you will be ok with the amount of turnbuckles they provide. (Only one visible per cable.) As I built two of the Eduard kits completely and have two more in the stash I confess an admiration for this design.

The three dimensional look of the internal skeletal structures molded in the fuselage halves is excellent. This kit easily surpasses the Eduard "slush mold" version. One of the trainer versions of the C.III had an Argus engined airframe that was named the Alb. C.VI (About 50 were manufactured.) The C.III later employed some interesting camouflage schemes that are well worth tracking down,

The cockpit looks like it will build up to be fairly detail , however can't say that about the engine . With most of it being expossed it lacks the detail . Nothing that some wire can't fix though . In ways it looks like Eduards casting ( the motor and not the kit )

I have placed my order for one and knowing my luck it will get in after Christmas .
