Hi All,
I have just started on Tamiya's Mossie in 48th. I have only got the cockpit together so far, but all is going well, it really is a superbly engineered kit, fit is absolutely fantastic. I have never built one before, and I wish I had sooner. I am going to do it in the colours of HX922 flown by Group Captain Percy Pickard on the Operation Jericho raid. I think a call to Mal for some masks is looming!
I only have a couple of pictures and they are poor quality because my daughter has nicked my camera for Uni!
Comments welcome, more soon.

The pics might be poor quality but the building isn't. Nice job so far. That instrument panel looks great.

Looks really good so far, it's a wonderful kit, just falls together.
Nice work on the office.

It will be nice to see one of these being built. I recently bought the 1/72 version (well, actually the B/PR version).
I don't think the photos are bad- just the colour balance is off and the depth of field a little shallow.
Are the belts part of a PE set for this kit, or generic ones?

Its been such a long time, but its nearly done, so time for a few progress pics..
Nearly done, just a few aerials to add and the navigation lights when I source some new ones as the kit ones were unuseable.
All paints were Xtracrylics, model Futured and given an oil wash. Codes were painted using Mals most excellent masks.
