:-) Tazz, shimming the wing to achieve the correct dihedral is not difficult. Cut a strip from a thin piece of plastic card, open up the top wing joint and slide it in. If the the dihedral still isn't correct either cut another strip and slide it in next to the first or use a different thickness. You can also mix and match thicknesess to get the correct angle. Once you have got the angle, apply liquid cement. When that is dry, trim of the excess, fill and sand :-)
If you don't have any plastic card try the plastic lids on margarine tubs. :-)
I have used this technique several times and it always works, best of luck :-)

Nice one Mal
Really neat explanation. The one point I'd add is to always try to "dry fit" parts to spot potential problems like this beforehand... a quick bit of sanding done early, can avoid a lot of hassle later!
Why not put the "pastic lids" tip in the Free Supplies forum... :-) sure is a lot cheaper than buying plastic sheet...
All the best

Rowan,
Absolutely right about dry fitting.
Whats this about free supplies, have I missed something Wouldn't be surprised, I used to be able to visit all the forums, but not anymore. Grrrrr, work! About time I retired :-)

Hi Mal
There are 2 threads in Tools and Supplies - "Free Plasic Card" and "Free Supplies", where people are posting their tips for free (or at least cheap) alternative supplies.
It would be neat to combine these into a permanent resource. I started a thread on this in the Sites forum, so hopefully Jim will spot it and say if it's feasible. :-)
All the best
