Jaroslaw Kierat has built Tamiya's 1:48 scale Brewster Buffalo Mk.I with added parts from a Special Hobby kit to correct the missing or wrong features of the model. He then included it into a very nice diorama showing the aircraft of F/O Noel C. Sharp, stationed at Kallang, Singapore in the end of 1941.

Jaroslaw,

Great model of a interesting subject. The detailing of the Buffalo and diorama really set this effort above.

As unimpressive as the Brewster was outside of Finland, three British Commonwealth pilots became aces in it: Geoffrey Fisken, a New Zealander with No. 243 Squadron (6), D.J.C. (Colin) Pinckney, No. 243 and No. 67 Squadron (4), and another with 5 kills.

Surprisingly, 3 Buffaloes of 805 Squadron fought from Crete before the island was captured.

Hope to see more of your work soon!

Fred
