Hello all,
Christmas is approaching and it's time for expenses!
I was checking my favourite shop's website, they sell Airfix's new Red Arrows Hawk and BF-109 at €6 each. I was considering to get'em both. An alternative might be Hobby Boss's Su-47 Berkut in 1/72, which seems quite nice. Has anyone built them? How are they?
Another small thing, the first models I will build after the exams (IF I will have time) are Revell's 1/72 F-22 and F-18E. As for the latter, I already asked you something and the answer was that it was a scale down of Revell-Monogram Super Hornet in 1/48. Has anyone got a build log of the 1/72 model?
Have a nice weekend everybody!

I don't know the Hobby Boss Sukhoi, but the new Airfix Hawk and Bf-109 look generally good, but do not have much detail. The surfaces are recessed and the fit is good, shapes also good, but if you want for example a good looking cockpit or landing gear you will have to invest considerable work. Overall they are good value and you can build a nice model right out of the box if you do not care much about detail bits.

Top of my list for 2010 is MasterBox`s 1/35 scale C-47/Dakota,Horsa glider and JU 52.The credit card is really gonna get a kicking when these beauties hit the shelves - even if it means selling the SWMBO and kids to get `em !!
