Italeri have updated their website with some infos and pictures about their new 1:48 scale Arado Ar 196 A-3 kit. This is a new tooling and the kit will include a beaching trolley.

That's fantastic news! I've got two short-run kits buried somewhere in the stash - and (unless this turns out to be like the Re 2002
...) I think they can stay there now!

..always fancied adding an Ar 196 to the collection...time to dig out the old Jet & Prop article on the hellblau Arado that served on the Hilfskreuzer 'Orion' ...
