Hello everyone.
I finally finished applying the decals on my RAF Mustang III and have started on the wash. I plan for this to be a lightly weathered aircraft.
I havn't done all that many planes so I thought I'd ask everyones opionion on the wash.
I used artist oils, a 50/50 mix of black and raw sienna well thinned with Mona Lisa paint thinner, which really flows well into the details.
So.. opionions, suggestions? thanks...
Delbert

looks good to me, especially if you are going for lightly weathered. you might hit the wheel wells with more of the wash though.

I agree with Vance, its subtle but still clearly visible. Looks great for a well-maintained or lightly weathered aircraft.
