painting trouble

to day i painted my zero with tamyia paint.
i panited the bottom of the plane japanes navy grey
i used a brush and it came out crapy for some reason,
i mixed the paint with a liltte water it. and it still looks its thick.
whne it dryed its like werid looking. lol

How does it look weird? Brush marks?

Try stripping the paint or painting over it with a spray can. Or, if you can, get yourself an airbrush and have another go. If you can give us more info, we can help you fix it.

there are brush marks and the paint was bloting looking when it dryed.
i might have to try to stirp the paint and break out the air brush
but how do u strip tamyim paint

ok i went to the hobby store and got a spray can of grey to match the japense navt grey.
and it cam out pretty good,
so i fixed my mess

there was another way. i could paint it again, and then emery over it. this works every time for me, and i am using a brush too.

Hi Tazz

It sounds like you've got youself sorted but, for future reference, you can strip Tamiya acrylics with Isopropyl Alchohol. It won't attack the plastic, but I'd still keep it away from any clear parts to be safe... :-)
