I am going to build a 1/48 Hasegawa Messerschmitt Bf109K-4 but I couldnt find any detail set for this kit. Do you think that the Eduard Kit made for the Fujimi set will work well on the Hasegawa one?

Thanks (++) B H (++)

It is possible, but you may well have some real problems with some or all of the parts. The Hasegawa kit is pretty nice OOTB, maybe you could use some but not all of it.

There are many detail sets available for the Hase kit, most of them are not very expensive.

I would be most concerned with the width of the cockpit tub if it is a resin set.

So you recommend me to only upgrade the cockpit?
I have available the one produced by True details and it costs about $6. I have never used resin parts produced by this company... is it any good? For $12 I get the Eduard det.set for the fujimi kit (with include internal and expernal details). I didnt quite decided what I should do ...

Hi B H, CzechMaster do a resin cockpit set designed for both Hasegawa and Fujimi kits so there may not be that much diference in the cockpit inner dimensions between the two kits. As Didiumus said you may be able to use a lot of the Eduard parts.

The FMDetail Sets produced a Detail set for Hasegawa kit. It's very nice. I brought one. Sorry no pictures. I am new and still learning to upload a picture. Hope this help. Steve
