My first model of the 2010 will be Heinkel He 219 Huh with Aires details set. Maybe I will also start HB Tornado IDS but I would like to finish some projects from past year.
Happy modelling to all in 2010.

First model that'll be fresh onto the bench for 2010 will be the Tamiya P-51B for the Aces High 2 Campaign.
I have a Tamiya Razorback for the Mighty Eighth Campaign which is about 3 days away from completion so that'll be the first one finished for 2010.
Also planning on getting my 1:24th scale P-47 finally done sooner rather than later ,lol.
Happy New Year everyone

Hi there
The first fresh kit onto my workbench will be the 1:48 Supermarine Seagull. I've got to finish my Flitzer this week and crack on with the Tamiya Spit Mk. IX.
All the best

Hi Gang
Well, I will (hopefully) finish the Pitts Special and I have started one of Tamiyas HMMWVs here. I will probably break the P-38 for Twin booms and I really hope to have a start on my MiG-17 for Aces2 .. then there is that FM-2 and a million started projects that just need a reason to be finished...
cheers
Steffen

My first model of 2010 I started a day or two before. It is the Hasegawa 1/72 scale KI-44 Tojo. I am putting it in natural metal with white home defense bands. It should look good I hope. Russell

Hi all
and a very happy new year. My first build of this year will be Revell's 1/32 scale P-38 J droopsnoot for the twin boom campaign. I think it might be an ex-monogram. Not a huge amount of detail in the cockpit, bombadier position or undercarriage bays so lots of scratchbuilding me thinks. This will be quickly followed [I hope] by a Revell 1/48 scale B-17F for the 3b campaign.

Greetings all. My firt start for 2010 is a dual build of Cessna O-2a's for the Twin Boom Campaign, one is 1/50th Heller and one 1/48th Testors. The first one finished will be the Heinkel He115 for the Seaplanes Campaign. The Cant Z506B for the Made in Italy Campaign will have to sit there until I'm not so mad at it.

For me 2010 will start as the year of finishing already started builds. First of all I'm going to finish two figures of German Feldgendarmerie soldiers in 1/35, then I will be working in parallel on the Airfix Spitfire in 1/48 and two build I have started few years ago in 1/72 scale, both Revell: P-51B Mustang and Me-262a Schwalbe. In the meanwhile I will certainly do my best to build B-17G for the Big Bombers and Spitfire Mk.V for the Aces2 but these two will be probalby OOTB builds. So as you see there's a plenty of models to build or finish this year, not mentioning already started ICM Yak-9M somewhere in the stash but I'm willing to finish as much as I can. Both figures, Mustang and Schwalbe are already build, just need painting so I'm in the half way already and I hope to finish them in the first weeks of 2010.

To start of this year with new builds - WNW Se5a for the WNW GB . Rodens Be2c for the WW 1 two seater campaign . Finish off projects in the works, P-51 D for the checker camapign . Continue work on Rodens Pfalz D.III in 32 scale . Bring out the Sopwith Strutter and get on with that one .
And stop signing up for camapigns as well as starting new ones until I have finished the ones I'm already involved in .
Most of all - have fun !

I have three builds to finish off first. I have also begun prepping some Classic American Muscle and Teutonic finesse for a contest in July. But hopefully, my first build will be WNW's Albatros. I know that may come as a suprise to some of you fine people out there.
I also have one of Herr Lawson's Darkside builds to emulate.

well, there are too many options.
I decided not to buy any new models this year (see how long this new year resolution will last) and work away on the stack instead.
So now I must choose between ch46, ch53, meteor, blackhawk... and so on and so on
aarrgghhh

Just need to finish off panel lines and weathering on the 1/72 Airix Whirlwind.
Then probably an old Junkers 88 from AMT that has been in my stash for a long time....think its a reboxed Frog kit; bought it second hand.
Very basic, but it looks like it will be a quick and fun build
After that, maybe the Airfix refuelling set.
