I hope you don't mind that I keep posting pictures of the already done models. If so just let me know.
Here's another model from my shelf. As said in the topic this is a model of the Me-262a Schwalbe from Revell. I bought it as "new" kit from the first injections. The sprues were still warm when I opened the box. The quality of details and accuracy was near perfect then. When I bought the same kit few yars later I was very much disappointed, I think the moulds simply got used so if you want to buy one for yourself it would be good first to see what's inside the box and then pay.
The model was finished with the kits' decals but with very much changed cammo on the fuselage as I have found some pictures of the original plane so I could make the model more authentic.
Let's roll with the pics.

Cool one! I have one in the stash. I see you replaced the canopy, of course. Is it a Pavla one (which I have)? If so, how is the fit of the new part?

Very, very good work there. Interesting that you omitted the swastika. Is that reflective of the real aircraft? Again, great camo job. Russell

Thank you guys.
Surprise surprise Giacomo, canopy is the original from the kit though I also have the vac from Pavla which I'll have to use in the second Me which I'm currently building. In the first injections of this kit the canopy was almost perfect but after few years of producing the moulds simply worn out so you can get rid of the original canopy and look for replacement. I'll let you know in a couple of days how the Pavla canopy fits to the fuselage.
Russell, I omited the swastikas beacuse Revell hadn't provided any in the kit and I had none suitable in the spare decals. The real aircraft had swastika in the usual place.

Wow! The kit's canopy? Why didn't Revell fix it? I had seriuos difficulties to get a vac canopy here, I was compelled to get them from Modelimex!
