Hi everyone

It's probably too late to make it into the Age of Aces campaign, but look at what I just found on the Eduard website... :-)

The detail and fabric effect on the fuselage look awesome!

All the best

Hi guys! :-)

Don't worry, I'm definitely in the AoA campaign! :-) I've started a Nieuport 17 and Albatros DV... I've never done WW1 before, so I'm hedging my bets that one or other will look presentable!

I'm not sure when Eduard are releasing the Camel, but I bet some of the WW1 master-builders will be producing showstoppers from this one...!! :-)

All the best

Snoopy!
I'll have to put this one on my shelf posed nose to nose with DML's Dr.I.

Seriously, it looks like a great model. I hope they also do a 1/72 version of it.

Snoopy!

My thoughts exactly. I figured the AoA planes would be my only WWI planes, but that one looks pretty good and I'm gonna have to give it a try.

nice to see this one come out as a weekend edition . I'm curious to see what the pricing will be . Eduards new release of the fokker d.vII weekend edition sells for 30 bucks here which is high for a kit with no PE and one decal option .

Hi Terri

Eduard are quoting a r.r.p. of $19.95 (US) on their site. I sent the kit to Stephen the other day, along with the new Dual Combo Fokker Dr.I so, hopefully, it should reach Aeroscale's Stateside Hanger very soon.

All the best

No worries Hugh. You will find that B3782 is in the RNAS set #8055 and is also the one offered in the Weekend kit.

The Camel Weekend kit arrived today. I had a bit of time yesterday and I looked up the service career of B3782. Very interesting.

Sopwith Camel F.1 B3782 was flown by Lts J. A. Glen and L. A. Breadner of N3 Sqdn RNAS, Bray Dunes, January 1918. She had several combats was written off in May 1918. More later.
