Could anybody help me with a colour match for 1940-1945 RAF bomb colours.
I'm Building Revell Lancaster and would like some advice on bomb colours.
Thanks for any help

I'm looking at the Nov 2002 issue of SAMI which features the 1/48 Tamira Lanc build. Randy Lutz painted the bombs olive drab [dirtied a bit as most ordnance would have been stored in the open] Red nose cap and red band. Paint the tail cones in a different shade as they were assembled as and when. Also check size of the 4000lb 'cookie'. The Tamiya one is well under sized. Hope this helps, Pete.
