Hi. I was wondering if the M2 .50 cals on the A1-H Skyraider look like a normal infantry/armor mounted M2. This is beacuse I am looking to replace the ones that came in my Tamiya kit because they don't look very convincing. However, I cannot find a set of M2s specifically for the Skyraider so I would just but any old set and use those.
Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
Andrew

Probably don't look like .50s' because they were 20 mm (0.79 in) M2 cannons.

Unfortunately I can't help with pointers on aftermarket, but here's two good photos showing the cannon barrel, in case you have to or choose to make them youself -->

They don't look that hard to fashion from metal tubing or syringe needles though.
Edit: Oh, what scale are we talking about? At least Aires seems to make resin Hispano 20mm cannons in both 1:72 (#7101) and 1:48 (4182), but they look like to be of a slightly different variant than on the Skyraider.
2nd edit: I did another search for just "cannon" on Aires' website, and found Colt mk.12 20mm cannons in 1:48 (#4181). The variant is a different one, but the barrels look closer to those on the A-1 pics: -pic-
