I have been building models for several years now and have just ventured into the world of photoetch and resin detailing kits. I just bought hasegawa 1/72 F-4E kit and verlinden's detail kit that is supposed to be for hasegawa f-4s. As I am looking through the pieces and directions I am not sure how this is supposed to work. Many of the detail parts don't look like they fit (beyond the bending I know I'll have to do). Is it just a matter of having to do modification to the original parts or did I buy two incompatible kits? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
