Hi Rowan

that is indeed good news and I might actually buy one of these kits (I already had decided not to buy one as it had no advantage over the Eduard)

all the best

Engine is exclusive for Japan and USA first editions!!

Does that mean if we want the engine we should get it from HLJ?

Hi Howard

I'll try to find out more details from our contacts at Dragon on that score - I'd like to hope the special edition will be available in Europe too...

All the best

Never say never again...

I propose that we name the Bf110 wing leading edges slats the "Steffen slats" since apparently his moaning reached the guys at Dragon.

Germans don't moan! They merely point out the obvious deficiencies of everyone else's engineering.

Hi there

I actually got a (rather overdue, thanks to the weather! ) test-shot of the kit today - and there's a lot in it that looks very tasty indeed! As ever, there are a few points to work on, but it's shaping up very nicely.

The "Steffen slats" are indeed there! Due to their being late additions, they are done as optional extras - i.e. the wing is moulded with the slats closed, but guides are marked on the inside to cut them away and fit inserts and movable slats.

All the best
