hi does anybody know if any AM manufacturers do a replacement canopy for airfix's 1:72 scale Boulton Paul Defiant, as the kit parts are a little overly thick. thanks Ant

cheers Rowan, that's what i was looking for! went on hannant's yesterday and looked for ages and couldn't find anything mind you was looking at squadron canopies but i'll give that set a look cheers. Ant

Aeroclub carry these too. Can't speak for the defiant but the falcon set for the sunderland fits the airfix kit perfectly and is very clear. Far better than smash moulding your own.

Try The Aviation Hobby Shop, in West Drayton, Middlesex; during a not-so-recent tdy-up, they found piles of the Falcon canopy sets. I'd be very surprised if they don't have one.
