Hello everyone,
My name is Mike and I'm new to the site. Tons of info. I need a little help with a project I'm working on. I'm trying to find an aftermarket source for a 1/48 US Navy Aerial Refueling Store (ARS) or "Buddy Store", preferably an older "Sargent Fletcher" or D-704 model. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and hope hear from you.
Mike

Hey all,
Maybe I need to clarify. I've been searching the net, and have found photos of what I am looking for from other builds, but no resources. I am currently building a VA-36 A-6E Revell intruder circa 1991 and a VS-29 ESCI S-3B (S-3A kit with a few conversions) Viking circa 1994. Both of which units I have served with. I have found a resource for the current Naval ARS (Buddy Store) for the "Rhino" (F/A-18E/F Super Hornet) but have been unable to locate an aftermarket dealer for the older model ARS in 1/48 scale. Thanks for any assistance.

Hello Mike,
After reading your first post I went there my resorce list and searched around and could not find anything like what your after. As to the Intruder/Prowler I have a large resorce list in both 48th and 72nd scale...no I'm not saying there's is nothing out there but I haven't seen anything yet.
Happy Modeling,
Joe

Thanks for looking Joe, I really don't want to scratch build them if I can help it. It's for a buddies retirement and I will if I have to. I appreciate the effort.
Thanks,
Mike

Hello again,
For anyone interested, I found a D-704 ARS (buddy store) from Cobra company, suitable for an A-6E or an S-3A/B.

You know for the life of me I don't know why I missed this one, I knew CC had one as many time I've been there. I knew they had the KA-6D Intruder Tanker conversion as this will be one project I'll be doing in the new year. I will now be adding this to my resource list.
