Anybody interested in a rescue aircraft campaign? All scales, all eras, but the aircraft should be readily identifiable as a rescue bird. High viz markings, "RESCUE", ARS, etc... plainly visible on the plane. Examples could be the PBY, Lancaster with life boat, and SB-17 to name a few. Start date would be towards the end of the year say October/Novemeber and run for approximatley 6 months, maybe longer. I would also allow Helo's on this one as long as they were identifiable as a rescue craft. Working title thus far..."Rescue Me". So what say you? Any takers? Thanks, "Q"

I'm in! Definitely! Sounds like a super idea! Just look at last months MOM winner! I long for High Viz - the brighter the day-glo...

I'd be in for that as I've always fancied doing a USCG Jayhawk. Question is Hobby Boss 1/72 OOB or convert an Academy 1/35

HI1
I´m definetley IN!!!
I love those bright colors and the diversity of aircrafts and helos!
I think it´s a must to allow helicopters too, as most modern SAR ac is choppers today!
Here´s some pics of my Revell (Monogram) 1/48th OA-10A (PBY-5A) Catalina in SAR markings from Labrador 1947!
Cheers!

I'd join in on this campaign with a couple of RAAF wartime ASR subjects, maybe a PBY-5 Catalina and a Walrus or Sea otter if time permits.
