i have heard of one forum member ( found through a google search) who had to pay £20 customs on a WNW kit, any idea why, or has anyone else had this problem?

Hi James
I got stung £17 odd for my LVG and £15 odd on my Hisso, its a random thing so the postie told me If I remember rightly its VAT plus a tenner parcelforce handling fee(ie the letter they send you to tell you theres a fee to pay rather like a letter from the bank!!!)
I didd'nt have to wait to collect mine,as soon as I got the letter I went and got them(about 12 days from date of order)
Wingnuts do ship very quickly

But my Biff landed in stelth mode with no fees to pay
Dont be put off about buying one ,they are superb kits, but pot luck on the customs!!!!,I'm 2,for 3 against at the moment ,but that wont stop me!!!!

Hello,

You guys in the U.K. are still quite lucky, over here in Holland we have an extra charge of €35,-! I am trying to find out what charges would be in Germany. I do not live that far away from the border (Arnhem) and I know some people who live there.

Cheers, Nico
