It is basicly OOB but I will add some detail in the cockpit like seat belts and some bits and peices in the cabin including a cutian in the door way leading to the belly gun. (it is just open there so you can see the louvers for the engine that are open.)

Looking good so far!
On a boxart-image from the former east-german company Plasticart, I saw a color-scheme with an red upper part and a metallic lower part.
greetings...

For me this is the hardest part of any project trying to decide how to paint it, but I think I may build more than one of this kit os maybe I can ease my pain a little. Will post more pictures tonight.

All the doors are molded open so you have the option to show interior detail.

Hey Neal
I think I will try and use clay to mask the cabin windows because of the dome shape, I will let you know how it goes soon.

The dome windows where masked using blue tack. It is for putting pictures on walls and does not leave a residue.

Thanks Man, I love any thing with swinging wings, does not matter which company makes it but I must say that the Rusky helos are my favorite, they are so hard and gritty looking they are just asking for trouble!

Doug,
You are having no trouble moving along with this build. I wish I could do that...
Love the decals and weathering! And congrats on your Mil 1 article!
Take care,
Austin

Thanks Austin
I will post more pics later tonight, and i did not mean that the models are trouble just that they are tuff looking Helo's that look like they could be trouble for the other guy. In fact I think that the latest Hobby Boss kits are just so well engineered that they are setting a new standard, I wish they would do some 1/48th scale helo's.
