Am about to start a Dambusters Lanc. Can anyone tell me if they had fuselage windows and also if the ventral gun position was fitted.

ED825/G was the only 617 Lancaster to have the ventral gun position, and was flown, as an emergency, as AJ-T, by Joe McCarthy. It didn't have VHF radio, or the height-finding spotlights, but that wasn't a problem, with the different method of attack against the Sorpe dam.

Many thanks Edgar. Apparently the major wekness with the kit [Revell 1/72] is the lack of detail on the chain drive that spun the bomb [or should I say mine].Any thoughts guys? I am thinking of using an old watch cog wheel and a length of necklace chain. Is there an A/M set out yet? Happy modelling to all, Pete.
