First off sorry if this has been dscussed before, but I did a search and found nothing on point. I picked up the above kit today (local club raffle) and I would lke to know if there is anything I should be aware of WRT this kit buld wise. Also, snce this will be my firstt aircraft kit in about 30 years (I'm a figure guy), I'd kinda like to get it right; are there any AM sets for this kit (I couldn't find any on-line)? Finally, I already have a pilot figure, bought seperately and serriptisiously (SP?), unfortunately there is on one set of markings in the kit are there any decal or transfer sets that would work for this kit set in North Africa or the Med? Sorry for the laundry list of questions, again aircraft isn't my building focus.

Hi Matt, I built that kit as a kid, but don't remember much about it, and I don't have one in the stash to examine. However, here's some links that might help you out a bit:

Be sure you check out the last link, it's an epic build thread by Radu Brinzan, a master modeler if ever there was one.

Thank you so much for the links. It sounds like as am lucky that the kit only cost me $3 as I will be dropping a bit of $$$ on AM stuff to correct what Revell never did. t's also a good thing that this will be a long term project as I should listen better to the demos at my club done by the plane guys (i.e. panel lines etc.), now I am going to have to look like the kid in class that was reading his comics rather than paying attenton to the teacher Again thank for the links
