dropsnoot P-38J rare photo of dropsnoot, I find this research quite interesting as this was rare version of p-38, only 100 made, I will go with this camo instead of BMF.I think plane was from 8th or 9th AAF euro theatre?

thanks for the pics looking at the box of my academy 1/48 p-38 your pic somewhat resembles the F5E photo recon? its a later version I guess.what a very interesting plane that I hope to build well enough to post, I am trying my macro 35mm lense on this build.
