I just picked up this flying boat kit put out by Roden, thinking that it could be my WW1 campaign entry. I must say that it looks impressive on opening the box!
Each of the two engines are among the most detailed pieces I've seen done in 1/72 scale. The cockpit area looks decent, and the MG's are well detailed. But there are struts galore. It's the latter feature that's making me shelf the kit for a while, until I get the courage to try to tackle them.
There are (as I recall) 4 decal options, including two late war dazzle schemes in blue triangles and red squares.
Just thought people would like to know...
