hello guys, a Prerequisite for the build log on this kit, some sprue shots overall impressions, parts count e.t.c,

So, here is Special hobby's Polikarpob I-15 "Red army" with an option for Skis,
it comes in a Horrid Side opening box ( i hate side opening boxes with a vengance) inside we have,
2, yes 2 main styrene sprues in special hobbys rough looking but smooth dark grey plastic, with according to the destructions, 13 parts on sprue A and 17 on B

13 PE parts, including the IP, 3(6) yellowy vacuform parts for the glass bits, and finally 45 Resin bits, unstuctions are a5 gatefold, b&w only,

details are mostly crisp with exeption to the styrene landing struts and a peice that looks hilariously like a bannana.

let the pics do the talking, the blog will follow on this thread sometime in the (hopefully) near future

Hi James

Nice one! I've had this kit in the Stash for a few years, so I'll be really interested to see how it goes together. Let's turn your Blog into into a Full-Build Review when you've finished.

All the best

No problems James, if you need to get on to it fire it up, I just couldn't resist the opportunity to throw some advertising in !!

Hi James

Too bad you can't get stuck in straight away, but an in-box review would also be good to fill the gap in the list. I took a very quick look at the original I-15 kit when it came out, but while this version has extra parts for some reason I never got round to covering it.

All the best

Rowan
