Here is a preview of Wingnuts 1/32 RNAS Sopwith Pup, #32015.



As with the two Albatros kits already previewed, this kit will be available direct from Wingnuts website from mid-March.

Official kit specs:
-High quality Cartograf decals for 6 aircraft.
-128 high quality injection moulded plastic parts.
-Optional side cowls, engine cowls, 2 propellers, 9901a Type fuselage and upper wing
-Highly detailed LeRhone 9c 80hp engine.
-6 photo-etched metal detail parts.
-Fine in scale rib tape detail.
-22 page fully illustrated instruction manual including full rigging diagram.

'Julia' from a Home Defense Squadron. This one had been involved in anti-Gotha patrols



This one is famous. S/Cdr Rutland flew this aircraft off a platform assembled on top of B turret of HMS Repulse:

The decals are well done. All the cockades have been cut away where they fit around the ailerons - a nice touch. There are lots of makers logos for the struts, stencils and instrument gauges. I haven't checked them for size yet, to be reported a bit later.

Here is the rest of the instruction booklet. As with the Albatros, the instructions are absolutely brilliant, featuring lots of detailed reference photos and good sized historical photos.



Plenty of interior detail as we have come to expect:





Two separate styles of fuselage halves in order to do the shipboard version which had (I think) flotation devices inside the fuselage:

All I know is I want one! Can't wait until next month. I will have the LVG done by then, and I'll be ready to tackle another one.
