James Fahey presents a first look at the pending issues of Wingnut Wings 1:32 Sopwith Pup kits. ". . .The Pup is a classic Great War design, popular for its gentle, vice-less flying characteristics, and I suspect also because it helped redress the balance of air superiority that the Germans were enjoying with the Albatros fighters. In this regard it was really the underdog, having only half the engine power and half the firepower of its Albatros opponents. . ."

Something I didn't spot when I wrote the review is the way Wingnut Wings have cleverly designed the cockade decals with fold down portions to wrap around the aileron cutout. Another example of their attention to detail!

Hi James

Many thanks for the Review! Wow! It actually looks even better than I dared hope for - and this was the subject of all the Wingnuts that I always knew I wouldn't be able to resist!

All the best
