You mean the biggest aircraft kits in 1:72 scale, or kits in general?
For the 1:72 aircraft kits, A-model makes a Hughes H-4 (or made, as I doubt the production run was a very long one).
Edit: Steffen beat me to it. That's the H-4 kit right there.

Even if I'm an Aviation builder I know about the german DORA 800mm Gun in 1/35

The same folks who brought out the German Dora RR gun were supposed to release the Japanese Battleship Yamato in 1/144 scale. You would need one hell of a bathtub to sail it in!! Al

Back in the '70s, the Tamiya 1/72nd scale B52 was officially the largest plastic kit. Someone (Andrea?) makes a 1/35th scale German Uboat. Masterbox is working on a 1/35th scale C-47, and I seem to recall that someone was talking about a 1/32nd scale german Gigant,

A 1/32nd Gigant ?,better not get that Sucka out in a high wind otherwise you`ll be singing "somewhere over the rainbow" !.
I had Italeri`s 1/72nd scale Me321 and 323 and even in that scale they had a wingspan of around 1 metre !!

Hello John, The 1/72 B-52 was from Monogram, not Tamiya. At that time it was the reigning champ size wise. A real BUFF. Al

I think the 1/72 B-36 wast the largest kit out for a long time, but I think it has been passed up by the 1/48 B-1 from Revell. It must be good to Revell's press to have the top three biggest plastic kits around. (B-1, B-36, and B-52)

Oddly enough, it hasn't. I did the numbers and the B-36 still comes out slightly larger. Mind you, the B-1 is a denser aircraft, so it's probably the biggest by bulk - just not by raw dimensions.

Didn't know that. How much larger is the B-36? I thought the Lancer was bigger with the wings extended....?

I am impressed with Guillow's 1/28th scale B-24 with its four-foot wingspan.

There's a 1/32 Lancaster kit out there but I'm sure some of the stuff mentioned already is bigger.

http://www.lancasterbombercollection.co.uk/

Also a 1/24 Lancaster:

There's also a 1/32 scale Vulcan bomber:

Not a 'kit' but don't forget THIS monster.....

B-1 in 1/48: span 34.25" (wings spread), length 36.5"
B-36 in 1/72: span 38.3", length 27"

So they both win, but the B-1 takes up more space.

I remember, back in the early '80s, that a vacuum company, probably Combat Models did a series of 1/32 scale bombers that included a B-24 and a B-52

My initial thought was the Italeri C-130J Hercules (1/48).

Fuselage: 24-1/2" (621mm)
Wingspan: 33-1/4" (843mm)

I know for a fact that this one is still available... if that counts for anything

@Sean. WOW I would never have guessed the 36 was that big. I guess mine's staying in the box just a little bit longer. Untill I get a MUCH larger hobby space.
