Saturday, July 17, 2010, is the day of the 1st Annual Fine Scale Model Show for the Tri-Cities in northeastern Tennessee.

The 1st Annual Fine Scale Model Show will be held at Bays Mountain Park, Kingsport, Tennessee, during Kingsport''s Fun Fest celebration. The times are 9:30 am until 6:00 pm.

Automobiles, aircraft, armor, dioramas, figures, ships, and space (real and Sci-fi) categories are open. Plaques and awards, ribbons and certificates will be awarded. There will also be a door prize raffle.

Hey there Hermon, Russell here. I am going to be one of the judges and am helping organize the event. We don't know about vendors but we are putting together a raffle.

Well things are coming together for the show. The raffle looks like it may be quite good. We have donations coming in and just got four Osprey books in this week for the giveaway! Hope to see anyone in the area at the July 17th event. Russell
