Great Start there Mark, won't it be great to see a big variety of kits and schemes to pay tribute to this grand old bird ??

I have a couple of old kits in the stash but I'm leaning towards hunting down a 1/32 or maybe even (ssshhhh, don't tell Mrs Reggie) a VFS 1/24 for this Campaign.

Hmm.. Didn'r pick up the VLS in any of my searches.

Didn't spend any time on figuring out who's tools are where so there may not really be as many as i found.

Here's a couple of more kits to the list. Kamide Koro makes 1:144 scale resin kits of P-40B/C and Hawk 75-A3 (there might be more though, I'm not aware of the manufacturer having a website, those two I found from Ebay)
AML has a couple of 1:72 scale Hawk 75 kits.

I found AML's site simply by hitting "aml kits" into google. Kamide Koro has evaded me so far though. Perhaps they have only a japanese-language site?

Looks like your google works better than my google. Link works fine and it looks like I've got 4-5 new entries I've got to get recorded. Impressive array of kits with lots of fiddly bits. I may have to invest in one some day.

Hey Mark, love your thread. That is an impressive list on the kit offering of the P40. How long did it take you so far, snice this is an ongoing afair.

The biggest PITA in putting the list together was having to open the "In Detail" memorize part of the data, put the book down, type it in, go back and do it again and again. Then I went to 3-4 online retailers and gathered what they had and just typed it in. All told I don't think I have 2 hours into the list so far, but I think I have 8 new entries I've got to get in.

Well, here's a short stab at P-40 Acessories. All of these are lifted from Great Models Webstore (I've cleaned out the P-39/P-400 items). I've pulled in over 700 rows of stuff (most are blank) from GMW, Squadron and Roll models. I'm trying to clean it up into a usable format. In the spread sheet the underlined items are hot links back to the GMW page. I don't know if this is helpful or of I should break out the retailer's item number and replace it with the manufacturer's item number and then break off the P-40 variant seperately.

Barracuda has just re-released their 1/32 P-40 decals and added new versions in 1/48 and 1/72.

I am looking for some Japanese yellow lightening bolts which I can use on my P-40, some were captured and used by front line units. If anyone has some spare ones I would be greatly appreciative.

Sorry, no luck on the Japanese lighting bolts, my guess is that you would have to canabalize another sheet for them.

I will be receiving the Special Hobby 2 in 1 release of the P-40F/L soon, so I certainly will join the campaign. Thinking of building a French Warhawk with a three colour upper camouflage finish.
