Hi

I've just picked up Academy's 1/72 Mig21 and overall it doesn't look too bad. However, I think the landing gear looks very crude indeed. Does anyone know of a replacement landing gear set that has the wheels and legs?

thanks

Off the top of my head, I can't unfortunately recall a set containing langing gear legs.
Pavla makes a resin detail set containing replacement wheels, landing gear bays and doors.

Hi

Yeah I saw the resin wheels on Hannants - i was kinda hoping someone had done a 'wheels up' mig21 using something like the fujimi or hasegawa kits and would be willing to part with them!

Thanks anyway

The Revell 1/72 MiG-21F-13 is cheap and a source for nice gear legs and wheels. Probably not as expensive as an aftermarket set, and you can then build the Fishbed C as a gear-up model and kill two Fishbeds with one stone
