Geoffrey Toillié (Rogue2332) has built three P-51 Mustangs of the 23rd FG based in China in 1944-1945. These are the 1:48 scale Hasegawa kits finished with some interesting and exotic paint shemes.

very nice !
my guess is Geoffroy was inspired by the photos and artwork (Thierry Dekker) in Batailles Aériennes # 44 'The return of the Flying Tigers' - lovely images and profiles of 23rd FG P-51s

Thanks Neil,
You're right, the Batailles Aériennes # 44 'The return of the Flying Tigers' was one of my references, certanly the more used .

The decals for the McComas plane are from the Hasegawa boxing "Pacific Mustangs". The two other aircraft's decals are from a Skymodels decal sheet about the Mustang, they may be a little thick but are of a good quality.
