:-) You may remember that it was intended to ask the armorama members to vote for their favourite entry in the Battle for Britain campaign. That idea was cancelled due to the fact that by posting on the RRB annonimity was compramised. It was decided then to just have all entrants in the campaign vote, the overall winner will receive an oak leaf (mention in despatches) to his campaign ribbon.
So to this end all those completing the campaign are requested to post up to 3 pictures of their entry on this thread. When all have posted I will let you know how the voting will take place.

Uh, propboy, sorry to spoil your party, but the 410 did not take part in the Battle of Britain AFAIK. I think it came into the war late, sometime around the end I guess

...
And BTW, this thread is for those folks who took part in the recent Battle of Britain build which ended on July 7. Those people need to post their pics of the finished models, so that others who took part in the campaign can go 'Ooooooh' and 'Aaaaah' about these winged beauties all over again #:-) !
Anyway, your kit looks good to me. Nice build

. What kit is it?? The ProModeler one?
Cheers,
BP.

:-) Thanks Martin, However:
1. Not all models have been posted. (It really is worth seeing them all)
2. The voting details will be posted when all models are posted. (A secret ballot)
3. Only those who entered the campaign are elligable to vote, as follows:
bytepilot
penpen
Eagle
TwistedFate
brandydoguk
Holdfast
vlady
stugiiif
SS-74
KentVH
bison44
TOMCAT14
viper29_ca
ladymodelbuilder
didiumus
Chief
airwarrior
porky
andy007
rotc_wildcat
So thanks for your interest and thanks for the vote. It was originally intended for all members to vote but because I asked everyone to post on the RRB, to showcase aircraft models, for once, I felt the vote would be compramised, in favour of those posting, so we are having a little internal vote.

:-) Sorry Vlad, I mean it will be a secret ballot, You are announcing who you will vote for. I was explaining things to Martin and it was also relavant to your remarks. So (Vlad please take note) was just a way of asking you to read the comments to Martin. Not a big deal, you mentioned two entrants, as you will only be allowed to vote for one, we wont know who it is.

Hi everyone! (as if in answer to the "ps"!!:-)
Just got back to "The Smoke" (London) today and realised how much fun I've been missing...
Sorry to one and all if late entries have messed up the timetable...I should have guessed it would all kick off when I was away...
Anyway, here are some pics of my best "guesstimatate" of Adolf Galland's Bf 109 E-3 in August 1940.

I'll try to catch up on the secret ballot...
Sorry to mess everyone about
All the best
Rowan

:-) Hi Rowan, got your PM, but a bit late for me to answer it, I will tomorrow.
I started this thread knowing you were away and knowing it would take about 2 weeks for everyone to get around to posting pics (still some to go). Didn't expect it to get this complicated though

So you haven't caused any delay :-)
Guess were I was all last week, yep the Smoke. Stayed in digs in Edmonton, on Wednesday I left at 06.00 to travel the 20ish miles to the other side of Hammersmith bridge +, got there at about 07.45. Glad I don't live in London.
