Hi All
I used to build models as a kid but gave up about 12 years ago. I have just restarted with a 1:48 Mitchell which has come out OK, but could do with some work on effects and detailing.
Any advice will be appreciated, particularly around getting the model to look "used" instead of factory fresh

Well, this is the right place. Folks are willing to share and tend to keep a civil discourse. Post some photos here or over in Pre-flight and ask questions.
Glad to have you aboard!

It's a dirty rotten trick..
1) try adding [/img] after the address for your photo. I tried typing in how to type it and instead it gives me one of those dreaded red X's.
2) you may want to get a Photobucket account (it's free)
3) somewhere on 1 of the forums there a tutorial on posting photos.
Good luck
On Edit: try this https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/forums/132412&page=1

Its actually easier to just copy the img code from the picture on photo bucket and paste it in your reply..
and you will get this result...
Any questions just ask..

Hi all
Your right Justin, just dropping the code from the photo you want to use from photobucket is much easier than my method. Very nice Mitchell you have built there James. Looking forward to seeing your next build.
