I have been looking for a review on Hobbycrafts 1/32 Fokker Dr.I, but so far I cannot find any. Does any of the Aeroscale community have any suggestions for this kit? I would be grateful for any insight or tribulations you have had in your building of this kit.

Again thank you in advance.

This kit is rough and has very little merit compared to Roden's offering. The only saving grace I recall is the Cowling has the bolt pattern. I believe it was discussed a couple of times on the aerodrome Forum.

Hi Bob:
Here's a review that's a little more sympathetic.....

Though most of the profile recommendations have outdated or just bad information. Dr.I 425/17 did not have lt. blue undersurfaces. More importantly it was never streak camouflaged. It was painted for MvR at the factory. There is more but I would have to spend a half hour just on the profiles.

The bottom line is that it is a minimum investment that can be worked with. Try a Datafile special on the subject or when building bring questions here.

Stephen, thanks for the information I just purchased Sqaudron/Signals ACES I, II, & III and they have many Dr.I profiles of various aces. Are you familar with those three (3) publication?
