Hi Simon
I cant wait to see the Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen. I used to see the D3's at RAF Llanbedr when on camping holidays near Harlech, north Wales. A fantastic sight although I did not like the red and yellow paint work.

hi Tim
yes they are very striking, i would love to see one fly. I recently visited Duxford and saw the one in their marine hangar which i believe was a D3. I came across one in Red Bull colours on the internet, it strikes me as an odd choice for them to use!

Hi there
I can wholeheartedly recommend Barracuda Studios' detailed pictorial study of the Sea Vixen for anyone tackling this or the forthcoming Airfix kit.
All the best
Rowan

Thanks Rowan
I think I will take your advice and buy myself a copy. Realy looking forward to Airfix's release of the 1/48 Sea Vixen.
