Here is a review of HGW's 1:48 scale Fabric Covering for the control surfaces of the Eduard serie of Fw190 A, D and F kits. A very interesting product if you are not happy with the look of the original kit parts.

Very interesting! The results look excellent. I wonder how permanent they turn out to be applied onto bare plastic. I'm surprised they're not designed to be used on a gloss-painted surface.

In fact the instructions ask you to use Mr Surfacer before applying the "decals/transfers". I have tried directly on the plastic and it worked.

I will use their rivets soon so another review will follow.
