The new 1:48 scale Macchi MC 200 from Italeri is now available. Let's hope it will be more accurate than their Reggiane 2002...

Do not hope too much .. it plays in the same league. I wonder how Italeri came up with the idea to produce more and more crappy kits and increase the price to "Tamiya standards" (and more ...)

That is a shame. Italeri used to be the "new" Airfix....good basic kit at a good price. The lovely 1/48 Cr42 was quantum increase in quality, but price hadn't jumped too much (at least here in NZ). Now with the awful Re2002 (which i was so looking forward to) and this, bad news indeed.

I wonder if there's been a change in personnel?

I really want to support someone who doesn't get everything made in China!

Do you know if a conversion set is comming for teh Re.2002 from italeri?
