Not sure of the best term for this phenomenon. I start in Aeroscale, look at the latest posts, pick on the "Chevy vs. Hemi" thread, and suddenly my 'home' is Auto Modeler and will remain that way no mater what post I open.

Is this a 'feature' or is it an evil plot by Damian to convert me to building cars?

Ha.. I never noticed till you posted this, but if you click on the 'last message' icon in the pages links it will take you to the site the post is on rather than keeping you on the same site you're currently on.
