My next model. A Me 109 K4 on scale of 1 / 32.
The interior ready to paint. I made some cables
Painted with RLM 66. A mixture of XF-24 + XF-18 (Tamiya paints).
RLM 66 more white for the lights and RLM 66 more black for the shadows.
What remains now is to paint the instrument panel, levers, belts to give some color to the interior.
World War II

Hi Antonio
Lovely work! The extra cables and subtle shading look very neat indeed.
All the best

Model ready to paint. As I am waiting for a sheet of decals from Eagle Strike still do not know which version will do. Perhaps the red tulip.

Request for help.
I have read the forums I visit that the doors of the rear landing gear of Me 109 K4 are closed.
I found, however, these two photographs that have been referred to as the K4 and the doors are open.
Can someone tell me which of the two versions is correct?
Thanks

As far as I know, either one could be correct. I remember reading that while the K-4 featured a retracting tail wheel, it was often fixed to down position and the doors permanently closed by front-line units as the system wasn't very reliable and prone to malfunction.
Could someone with better knowledge or references at hand comment some more?
Very nice work so far! I've been paying close attention to this one.

Hi Antonio,
Your Bf-109 looks great so far. I really like the weathering techniques you have applied to the cockpit, gear wells and the landing gear themselves. Very nice, indeed.
Con mucho gusto!
