I do this strange thinhg called test fitting to see if there is gap that can be eliminated by modifing the construction sequencewing halves first then final assembly. Sometimes I can do the wing bottom to the fuselage first, but most of the time not. HTH STUG

Not all the kits are the same. If the fit is good I first assemble the wings and then to the plane. If the fit in the wing roots is not good a solution maybe gluing first the bottom of the wings to the plane and then the upper parts of the wings starting with the wing roots. Each kit is diferent and there is not a general rule for this.

I agree with cas and stug, it is best to dry fit and check for fit and dihedral first. Actually, I tape the top wings to the bottom, then test fit the assembly to the fuselage. As I uncover problems and correct them, I continue to test fit. Once all the parts fit together correctly and I know what I have to do to fill any gaps( or trim to get to fit), the actual sequence will usually be self evident. Again the first, most important step is to TEST FIT, TEST FIT and TEST FIT.
