Now that looks really nice, thanks for posting the news Andy.

Barring any mishaps, it should be out at the end of June.

I always look at a halftrack differant because of that now!
Always wanted one of these in 1/32 but 80-90+(?) USD is way out of line for a new kit in my budget. Who is supporting these market prices? Asian builders are that affluent now?
Still, it's a great subject in great scale. Really have to think about this one......

Interesting. I heard rumors that Trumpeter was putting this one out, but it looks like it is going to be a HB offering instead. Judging from the pics, it looks like this will be a single-seat, metal-winged version.
I'm a bit confused, though. It says that the later releases will include an IL-2 Ground Attack and an IL-2M3 Ground Attack. Seeing that the Ilyusha was built for ground attack/CAS, I'm left wondering what this means, exactly. Perhaps a different boxing with more bombs? A wheeled version with more bombs?
Still, it's nice to see a big-scale IL-2. This one may just find its way into the stash.

Hi,
I'll be interested to see the rest of this series, so far it's looking good. Only problem is I'm going to run out of kidneys to sell before I can get the complete set.
The Type M 3rd series was the late war variant that they upgraded with a pair of 37mm cannon. For those moments when 23mm just wasn't quite enough...

The second release is posted on the Hobbyboss site this week. A wheeled single seater. As for the underwing 37mm guns I want to say one of the test pics had shown them. The only one that I have not yet seen mention of is teh early two seat IL-2M with the 'straight' wings of teh single seater - like that was boxed by Eduard by combining sprues of teh AccMin kit a year or two ago
Here is a link to a post with test pics of the kit (they may have been seen around here already!)
