I am going to go with jackflashes advice and leave top wing upper surface and lower wing under surface unfinished, that would indicate all priming and painting of those surfaces to be done after wings and rigging are assembled? is that a bit difficult to ? it would cover up the flaws

Priming is ok but hold off on the paint til all the rigging ends are cut & scraped off.

that is going to look very good...just a little confused on my part, you are able to airbrush in there when upper and lower wings assembled to fuselage?
