hi there guys im wondering about the revell classics spitfire 1/32 is this a suitable spitfire for battle of britain?? also did they use the austin tilly's in the battle of britain for the pilots taking them from the planes to barracks? or were they used later on in the war?
im mainly an armour builder so im abit of a numpty when it comes to planes :S lol

I personally think the use of the Tilly by the RAF has been vastly overstated- and they didn't use any of the Austin ones, it seems.

I would go for a Airfix 1/32 MG or Blower Bentley, if you can find one- seems more appropriate for a Spitfire pilot. Alternatively, a bicycle or motorcycle would be interesting.
