any reccomendations? on the best book with detailed historically correct pics especially of the rigging turn buckles, I cannot find quality online photo reference, I see no walk arounds of this plane on aeroscale thanks for your patience.

For books there is Windsock Datafile # 20 as well as Nieuport Special .
For online look under Mark Miller 3D Drawings , Nieuport 17 , the Areodrome has this info in the gallery section .
There is also a site which is restoring one and has pic.s on line , but can never remember the name of it .

There are also two French books that are awesome, if you can find them anymore. One is primarily on Guynemer, the other on Dorme and Guiget (sp?). Both hardback, and while both cater towards the aces, there is plenty of "new" (at the time) information on Nieuports that was a God-send. Two of my most prized-books in my collection.

I will have a look at all of these online....if possible, I tried a search on newzfind.com which was 1st up on yahoo search,it attacked my computer and cut me over to porn no big deal just be careful as all the datafile downloads for wind sock data file #20 and others? looks flaky.I will play it safe and order a book or mag...thanks to all of you
