just wanted to thank everyone for the help in regards to simulating wood on props ect.I am using winton oil colors with a variety of shades and giving it a varnish look with clear yellow/orange......very good results, now if I could just do justice to my work by being able to post good photos, seems like presenting a model online is half the battle, I am going to dust off my old 35 mm SLR

Since this is a thank you thread...
I really want to thank everybody out there for their well wishes after my very minor surgery. This is the best group of friends a person could ever hope for. And just think, most of us don't even know what the other people on this site even look like. Should we start a picture yourself thread where we post pictures of ourselves?
