Hi everyone,

My oldest son Nathan asked for a few model kits for his 10th birthday on the 8th of July so we have been building the Wingnut Wings Eduard Ritter von Schleich Albatros D.V. I let him use the sprue cutters and airbrush while I took care of anything having to do with a knife or masking. The build is about 90% his with just a little help from me. (I'll teach him about rigging later on.) He ask me to post pictures for everyone to see.

thanks,

Mark

Mark and Nathan!
Excellent dad & lad build. Most impressive. Your son reminds me of a young MvR with that Albie in hand. And the Black Knight would be very impressed with this young man's efforts. Please Nathan Model On!!!

Excellent work Nathan, I hope you're teaching Dad a few tricks now !!

My son Josh is getting stuck in to a few kits now so I started a thread HERE similar to yours.

Great to see the future in good hands !!

Hi Nathan:

Your efforts and enthusiasm remind me of myself at that age. I couldn't wait for the Next Aurora release to add to my collection. Your smile, your pride in your work, and the quality of your work are certainly noteworthy and years beyond your age. Model on young man, and enjoy the hobby to its fullest and all the lore and history that it employs.

Best wishes to you and your dad.

Mark

Agrees with all the above, an effort many of us would be pleased to say was theirs.

Now...let the paint and toolwar begin...keeping tabs on mine was impossible when my son started doing warhammer let alone serious modelling

Nathan. Welcome to the wonderful world of on-line modeling. You chose a fine kit and did a super job on it. I hope to see your builds here for years to come.

Tell your dad you want to do the LVG next.
