Hi Everyone!
An Old friend, who's getting back into modeling after about ten years, asked where he should browse the web for ref. pics. He's into WWII US and Allied planes. I have NO Clue what to tell him as I'm a Armor and figure guy myself.
Any links would help alot but he's looking for detail pics and not so much combat pics.
Thanks,
Chuck

Hi Chuck,
There are plenty of reference sites out there on the web. All that needs to be done is go to Google, and give a search on the aircraft needed.
In case you are looking for detail photos, there's a vast sea of sites out there catering to all kinds of planes. Here are some from my collection of links:
1. Aircraft Resource Center
2. Aircraft Walkarounds
3. Warbirds Resource Group
4. Hyperscale
Hope these help for starters !
Cheers,
BP.

Another simple and effective way is to simply type in the designation of the AC in Google.com and hit search.
